Diapers are often used as contraceptive devices though the manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any accidents or unwanted pregnancies. Diapers are designed for maximum comfort and it is recommended that a ladies sanitary napkin is inserted for added absorbency. Remove backing paper from pad and adhere to inside of Diaper just under the tail hole. Panty Liners are acceptable for small dogs/puppies for short term usage but you will need to use regular or even maternity pads for larger dogs and longer wearing. Pads can be cut to size if required. Please change pads regularly to keep your Fur Baby dry and comfortable. Diapers have felt glued and sewn tail holes that may be carefully enlarged to allow for number two's. Take care not to cut beyond the felt as the Diaper will fray. Click on photo below for an example of how to cut for # two's. There is no need to remove the Diaper when your girl goes to the toilet so you don't have to be watching her every move.

Diapers are usually made from soft interlock or similar unless otherwise stated under the photo. They are single thickness to allow for air flow and comfort in hot summer months. Light elastic is used around the Diaper for a better fit. This is the same FOE or fold over elastic used in human baby Nappies. It is essential that you take care and don't allow the Velcro on your Diaper to attach to the elastic and pull threads.

Diapers are machine washable on a gentle cycle for longer life. Please do up any Velcro & remove pad before washing. Line drying is recommended although Diapers may be tumble dryed.

Small Diapers fit girls up to around 3kg. Medium Diapers fit girls up to around 7kg and Large fits girls up to around 12kg. These are estimates only and it depends on the breed/age of your dog. Please ask us and we can guide you in choosing the right size for your special girl.

Cut tail hole as shown above taking care not to cut beyond the felt, only exposing the anus and leaving the girly bits covered. It may help to keep the hair in this area clipped short.
