LoveMyFurBabies was born in April 2007 out of necessity. A friend has a great little Pomeranian boy who insists on marking everything in sight and therefore was not allowed in the house with everyone else. After doing some research on the internet I found that there was a need for Belly Band type garments in Australia. I started making and trialling Bands using Raz the messy Pom as my crash test dummy and then jumped in and listed on eBay. I had a great response and after some more trial and error, as well as the super important feedback from my customers, I now have a design that works well. I have made Bands for boys up to Rottweilers. There are so many owners of older incontinent boys out there who dearly want them to still be part of the family but are sick of cleaning up the mess or have to keep them separate. With Bands, those boys can be with their families and do all the fun things like going out in the car and visiting friends.

I started getting inquiries about the female alternative quite early on and after doing lots more research and trial and error, I developed the design you see today. I wanted something that my own girls would be happy to wear for longish periods but wouldn't irritate or annoy them in any way. I also didn't want to have to take it off every time they went outside in case they wanted to do number two's. I found that the felt works well around the tail hole as you can cut it, as well as the fabric underneath, and it tends not to fray. My girls wear their Diapers all day when they are in season and have not had any problems. Incontinence can also be a problem in older girls just the same as the boys. One American Bulldog x Staffy girl is now allowed back in the bed with her owner since she got her Diaper.
